I don't think she even knew it was my birthday, but the day before when I checked the mail, there was a small package in the box. I had no clue what it could be, and imagine my surprise when I opened it and found the beautiful necklace with hand-made fabric beads of silk and velvet, vintage findings upcycled from bits and pieces of old jewelry, and wonderful color combinations.
